Speaking at the Token2049 conference in Singapore, Tenev said that in the future, “everything will be on-chain in some form, and the distinction [between crypto and traditional finance] will disappear.”
Demeter, best known for launching the world’s first Bitcoin ATM in 2013 and co-founding one of Canada’s earliest crypto exchanges, Cointrader, is widely regarded as a pioneer in blockchain adoption.
“A specialist taskforce, hell bent on breaking games into the $121bn mobile market,” Ferguson wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Since April, we’ve already taken three games to the No. 1 rank on mobile stores. Now we want the charts to be dominated by Immutable.”
“By linking Bitcoin’s strength with Ethereum’s flexibility, and eventually with other networks, we are creating a framework where communities can grow together,” he said. “This is how Bitcoin becomes more accessible, more useful, and more impactful for the entire crypto economy.”
“The civilizations that gained the most from new waves of technology are not the ones who consumed the technology, but the ones who produced it,” he noted. “Openness and verifiability can fight against global balkanization.”
