While the agency is stepping back from its appeal, Ripple has not yet agreed to withdraw its own challenge. The company continues to contest the $125 million fine imposed by the court and the ongoing injunction that restricts it from selling XRP to institutional investors without registering those transactions as securities.
She acknowledged that the last few years have been tumultuous for the industry, with enforcement actions often taking precedence over clear regulatory frameworks. Now, she hopes to provide more definitive guidance and work toward distinguishing which aspects of crypto regulation fall under the SEC’s jurisdiction.

With this deal, MoonPay’s financial services will extend to enterprise-grade stablecoin offerings, enabling businesses to accept cross-border stablecoin payments and hold multi-currency treasuries or yield-bearing assets, such as U.S. Treasury bills.
