- Sui has launched its first global SuiHub in Dubai, partnering with Ghaf Group to support Web3 startups and blockchain developers.
- The SuiHub in Expo City will offer technical support, workshops, and community events aimed at advancing blockchain innovation in the MENA region.
Sui, a Layer 1 blockchain known for its scalability and performance, has opened its first global hub in Dubai, in partnership with the MENA region’s Ghaf Group. The new SuiHub is part of a broader plan to establish a global network of workspaces designed to support Web3 builders and blockchain development.
Located in Expo City Dubai, the hub will offer resources to Web3 startups, including technical support, workshops, community events, and funding opportunities. Sui aims to bolster decentralized application development by providing a collaborative space where developers can innovate using its blockchain infrastructure.
“SuiHub’s mission is to empower regional blockchain startup founders by providing the resources and support needed to drive growth and further strengthen the regional ecosystem. Acting as a hub where talent, technology, capital, and opportunity converge, we foster collaboration and create new synergies,” said Kristof Lukovich, CEO of SuiHub.
Furthermore, Lukovich emphasized the organization’s focus on bringing innovative solutions to market through its venture-building efforts. He highlighted the Q4 accelerator program, developed in collaboration with Brinc, CoinList, Sui, and Ghaf Group, which aims to support promising startup founders on a global scale.
With a network of over 40 ecosystem partners, advanced in-house engineering capabilities, and several strategic initiatives, Lukovich expressed confidence in the organization’s ability to shape the future growth of the regional blockchain landscape. He also underscored the importance of their partnership with the American University of Sharjah, where they have launched a blockchain academy to nurture the next generation of blockchain leaders in the region.
Dubai was chosen for the first SuiHub due to its status as a tech-forward city with a strong focus on blockchain technology. The city has become a hub for tech innovation, with government initiatives aimed at positioning it as a leader in the sector. The Expo City site, known for hosting cutting-edge technology projects, adds to the appeal of the location for Sui’s ambitions.
This move builds on Sui’s existing presence in the region, following its partnership with the American University of Sharjah, where the AUS-Sui Blockchain Academy was launched earlier this year. Sui has also fostered local community engagement through events like Sui Connect, which brings together developers and blockchain enthusiasts to collaborate on projects.
Sui’s plan to open additional hubs around the world reflects its broader mission to create a decentralized ecosystem that provides localized support for blockchain developers. The Dubai hub is seen as a key step in this strategy, aimed at enhancing Sui’s role as a leading platform for Web3 innovation in the MENA region.
As Sui expands its global footprint, it remains focused on supporting developers through both technical infrastructure and community-driven initiatives, underscoring its commitment to a decentralized future. More hubs are expected to be announced soon, further extending Sui’s reach in the blockchain space.
