0xSchool is gearing up to host Kerala’s largest Web3 hackathon, BuildOnChain’24, in partnership with Kerala Startup Mission, IEDC Kerala, and NIT Calicut. The 24-hour event will take place during the IEDC Summit at NIT Calicut, one of India’s top engineering institutions, from 10 AM on October 19 to 10 AM on October 20.

The IEDC Summit, recognized as Asia’s largest student entrepreneurship event, sets an ideal stage for this hackathon. It will attract over 10,000 participants, including students, professors, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. The summit also boasts 425 IEDC units, 350 startups, 70 top speakers, and 100+ events. BuildOnChain’24 will harness this dynamic environment to showcase the power of blockchain technology.

With a prize pool of $1,500, BuildOnChain’24 is backed by major Web3 players such as Operate Crypto, Tezos, Elna.ai, and SendCoin. Participants will work on real-world challenges, creating blockchain-based solutions under expert guidance. The hackathon aims to foster innovation and highlight the potential of Web3 in addressing global challenges.
